Improving Breast Cancer Disparities in Chicago

Leading the Way: Improving Breast Cancer Disparities in Chicago

Toolkit

Whether you are interested in facilitating a full Quality Improvement (QI) initiative or are interested in tools and strategies to apply at a local level, use this toolkit to address disparities in breast cancer care.

Enhanced clinical training and continuing education in health professions can effectively translate research about what fuels disparities into actionable change. These tools and educational resources were compiled from a QI program implemented within the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center Breast Department, sponsored by University of Chicago Center for Continuing Medical Education in partnership with the Academy for Continued Healthcare Learning (ACHL).
